Patient Participation Group

Aim of the Group

The group comprises of patients of the surgery who wish to work together with the staff and doctors to help them to meet the needs of their patients, improve services and to share an understanding of issues and opportunities.

Achievements

By working together in a constructive and supportive way, over the last few years, we have:

• Increased the number of staff members on the switchboard at the busiest times
• Discussed and improved the appointment system
• On-line repeat prescription ordering
• Assisted in the development of the Practice Booklet
• Organised Self-care promotions
• Assisted with Patient Surveys

Join us

We are actively looking for new members. The group meets 6 times a year on Monday evenings between 6.00pm and 7.00pm.  

Complete this online form to express an interest in joining the PPG. A member of the PPG will then make contact to discuss this in more detail.

Although we are trying to encourage the online form, it should be noted on there that patients are welcome to speak to a receptionist if they are interested in joining the PPG.
