- We operate a computerised appointments system.
- Pre-bookable GP appointments are usually available up to three weeks in advance.
- You may request a doctor of your choice but this will depend on availability.
- The GPs have requested that receptionists are to ask you to briefly describe your symptoms in order you see the right clinician.
If you have registered for our online service you may book your appointment via our online services page or via The NHS app
All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation. Please request this at the time of booking or speak to your doctor.
Telephone advice is also available with a GP or practice nurse if you do not need to see them face-to-face. The receptionist will advise you when this will be convenient or will ask them to call you back.
Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.
Travel Vaccinations
Information and advice for travelling abroad.
Home Visits
Home visits will only be made to patients the doctors consider to be too ill or immobile to come to the surgery. There is no automatic right to a home visit. Requests should be made, if possible, before 10.30am giving the receptionist as much information as you can to assist the doctor in deciding the degree of urgency.
Change or Cancel an Appointment
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please inform the practice as soon as possible. Missed appointments are a waste of a health professionals time. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you may be asked to rebook.
